SustainART Pilot launches for laboratory plastic recycling | EcoVoice

CooperSurgical has launched sustainARTSM, a pilot initiative exploring how plastics used in IVF laboratory products can be collected and recycled. The pilot brings together CooperSurgical, Adora Fertility and recycling technology company Transmutation to trial how selected plastics can be collected from laboratories and processed for recycling without disrupting the workflows or compromising sterility standards.
Adora Fertility is the first fertility clinic participating in the pilot, with the first collection of materials delivered to Transmutation's Melbourne recycling facility this week. Vanessa Ferguson, CEO of Adora Fertility, spoke to the initiative reflecting Adora's commitment to innovation in fertility care.
