I Give Back

I Give Back

At Adora, many of our patients who have been successful with treatment, have spoken of their desire to give back, to help others going through a similar journey and to do what they can to alleviate the stress of IVF for those that need it.

When we were approached by Josh Henshaw and his wife Alice, who had gone through their own fertility journey and wanted to give back, we knew we wanted to help. As a result, our ‘I Give Back’ campaign was created and we thank Josh for his motivation to make this happen. The IVF journey can be tough, there’s no doubt about that. At Adora, we are committed to doing what we can to make the IVF journey as seamless as possible and we are delighted to partner with those individuals and couples, like Josh and his family, who share this commitment.

If you would like to assist those going through IVF treatment we would love to hear from you. You don’t have to have been through treatment at Adora, nor do you have to have been through IVF, the only prerequisite is your desire to assist others. There’s a number of ways you can do this, which we’ve outlined below. Regardless, we welcome your contribution no matter how big or how small.

If you have your own ideas for giving back please do reach out, we’d love to hear from you at info@adorafertility.com.au.

Josh Henshaw and his wife Alice with family

Raising Funds

Josh Henshaw and his wife Alice, spent many years creating their beautiful family with the help of IVF. They experienced the highs and lows of treatment and the financial and emotional struggle so many people go through. At the time of treatment, Josh and Alice were unaware that low cost fertility treatments existed and as such, are now working to raise awareness of low cost clinics like Adora. In July of this year, Josh will be completing The Guzzler Ultra Marathon in his Adora Fertility running singlet. He will be committing his body to the gruelling training to honour his wife’s commitment to all she put her body through. Josh will also be raising funds for those families who are struggling with the financial burden of IVF treatment. If you would like to donate to Josh’s marathon efforts, please visit his fundraising page.

Raising Awareness

Many families who go through IVF are unaware that low cost fertility treatments exist. There is a misconception that IVF is unaffordable and we, at Adora Fertility, are working to change that. We’ve created some Adora Fertility running singlets and we invite you to order some and wear them with pride in your own running or training efforts. Grab a mate, grab a group, grab a team and grab your singlets. Help us raise awareness of high quality, low cost IVF clinics like Adora. Please email us at info@adorafertility.com.au and let us know how many you’d like and they will be posted out to you.

The Gift of Kindness

Adora Fertility has partnered with 1000hearts, a global kindness community who exist to make people happier and healthier by sharing kindness in a simple and tangible way. Their hand made pocket hearts are designed to be kept close and squeezed when you need a reminder of love, hope, courage and comfort. Through a network of heartists, many with their own stories, pocket hearts are stitched daily and given to our patients at a time when they need them most. If you would like to purchase a pocket heart brand kit and stitch hearts for those patients at Adora Fertility, please click here.
