Our Laboratories

Often described as the place where 'magic meets science', all our laboratories are purpose built with state of the art equipment. At Adora Fertility we use evidence-based research to guide use of the latest technologies, implemented to give each and every patient the best chance of success.
Each of our laboratories is accredited by the Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee (RTAC) with recent audits all achieving 100% compliance, testament to the hard work and high standards of our laboratory teams.
From IVF and ICSI procedures to monitoring embryo development and grading, freezing and thawing embryos, and preparing them for transfer, every step within the laboratory is performed with precision and care.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. Our laboratory teams work hand-in-hand with our doctors, nurses, and patient support staff to ensure all processes are conducted safely and with the highest level of expertise.
Utilising the latest technology
Our laboratories use cutting edge technology to improve outcomes for patients and create efficiencies within the labs which lead to more affordable treatment options.
Use of the ZyMot device is routine practice at Adora Fertility for preparing all suitable semen samples within the lab. This superior method of sperm preparation isolates the motile sperm using the micro pores in the device’s membrane. This process uses the sperm’s natural swimming ability to isolate the best quality motile sperm, rather than traditional centrifugation methods which can result in damage to sperm DNA.
Ensuring the safety of your eggs, sperm and embryos
At Adora Fertility, the security and safety of your eggs and sperm (gametes) and embryos are our highest priority. In addition to having two embryologists check three points of ID at every critical step, we use an electronic witnessing system called RI Witness. This ensures complete traceability and safety of patients’ gametes and embryos throughout the entire treatment cycle.
