Clinic's closure and surging demand may bring lower-cost IVF to Canberra

Access to affordable fertility care is a growing concern for families in the ACT with a Canberra clinic set to close and fewer fertility options available locally. Canberra mum Samantha Watson, who found out about Adora Fertility through an online community, shares how telehealth appointments and local blood tests and ultrasounds meant she only needed to travel for her egg retrieval and embryo transfer. Vanessa Ferguson, CEO of Adora Fertility, spoke about the growing demand from the ACT with Adora seeing a 37% increase in patients from ACT this year. She also shared that a Canberra clinic is something Adora is looking at, while making clear no decisions have been made.
