About Dr Stephanie Sii

Dr Stephanie Sii is a highly trained fertility specialist, reproductive endocrinologist, obstetrician, and paediatric, adolescent and adult gynaecologist who is passionate about holistically supporting women from preconception through to delivery.

Stephanie holds the prestigious Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) from RANZCOG, this is the highest qualification for fertility specialists in Australia and New Zealand. Her prior medical training included obtaining her medical degree at the University of Otago in New Zealand, her Masters of Reproductive Medicine at the University of NSW in Sydney, specialist RANZCOG training in Melbourne and a fellowship in Paediatric Adolescent Gynaecology at the Royal Hospital for Women and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.

As well as her role as a Fertility Specialist at Adora Fertility, Dr Stephanie is the Head of Department for the Reproductive Biology Unit at the Mercy Hospital for Women. She also consults out of Mitcham Private Hospital as an obstetrician and gynaecologist and is a visiting medical officer at the Royal Children's Hospital.

With special interests in complex infertility, second-opinion IVF, recurrent implantation failure, recurrent miscarriages, poor responders, fertility preservation, Mullerian disorders and reproductive genetics, Dr Stephanie is passionate about helping her patients achieve their dream of becoming parents. She is a strong advocate for all her patients including members of the LGBTIQA+ community and those wishing to preserve their fertility, either socially or medically through egg or embryo freezing.

Known for her warm, empathetic and thorough approach, Stephanie tailors her fertility care to meet the unique needs of each patient. An exceptional communicator, she goes to great lengths to help her patients feel at ease throughout their fertility journey.

Stephanie sits on the ANZSREI (Australian and New Zealand Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility) Board Committee and is dedicated to improving the landscape of fertility medicine in Australia by promoting equitable, accessible and affordable treatment for all patients regardless of their background.

Alongside her clinical practice, Stephanie devotes her time to teaching and research. She is a trainee mentor for candidates enrolled in the Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG) and Certificate of Women’s Health (CWH). Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, particularly in the areas of fertility preservation and oncofertility. She is a member of ANZSREI, FSANZ, ESHRE, AGES and ANZPAG.

Outside of her work, Stephanie is a mum of twins, a salsa dance enthusiast and enjoys cooking and hosting dinner parties for friends and family. She also speaks conversational mandarin.
