I am considering a donor
There are many reasons why you may need to consider using a donor to conceive. At Adora we are proud to be able to assist heterosexual couples, LGBTIQA+ couples and single women grow their family with the help of a donor.
While this may feel like a daunting decision, there are a number of support groups and counselling services to support the increasing number of people on this path to parenthood. In addition, the process of using a donor is a rigorous one designed to support everyone involved whilst considering the best interests of the donor conceived child.
If you are considering using a donor, we have a donor team who can guide you through the range of treatment options we have available for using donor sperm, eggs or embryos to conceive.

What treatment options are available?
Common treatments include Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) or a full IVF cycle involving donor sperm, eggs or embryos.
How do I access donor eggs, sperm or embryos?
At Adora Fertility you can choose to use eggs, sperm or embryos donated by someone you know or select one of our de-identified sperm donors imported from overseas.
How do I choose my donor?
Adora Fertility has partnered with The World Egg and Sperm Bank (TWESB) and Seattle Sperm Bank (SSB) in the USA to provide access to de-identified donor sperm. Due to differing state legislation not all donors are available in all states, however it is possible to travel interstate for treatment.
All investigative screenings and implications counselling must be completed and you must be cleared for treatment by your Fertility Specialist before choosing your sperm donor.

Costs
Donor fertility treatment costs include a Donor Program coordination fee, the cost of de-identified sperm if required, and the cost of the treatment type used – IUI or IVF. Private health insurance may cover Day Surgery and Anaesthetist fees.
