IVF Costs at Adora Fertility
One of the most common questions people ask is, How much does IVF cost? A fresh IVF/ICSI cycle at Adora Fertility costs approximately $2,430 out of pocket. This cost is averaged across our clinics and includes all fees with the exception of medications and the anaesthetist fee which vary. By bulk billing the majority of Medicare-eligible expenses associated with Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), we can keep costs lower than many full-fee clinics while continuing to provide high quality care.
It is important to note that every fertility journey is different, which means IVF costs may differ from person to person. Reviewing the full pricing information below or speaking with our team can help you better understand the IVF cost that may apply to you.

What Can Affect IVF Expenses?
The cost of IVF will depend on the type of treatment you need. As every patient is different and your treatment plan is personalised, the cost will be unique to you.
Some patients may be suited to treatments such as Ovulation Induction (OI) or Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), while IVF or ICSI may be recommended for other patients. Additional procedures such as a surgical sperm retrieval may also be required for some patients as part of their care. Ongoing storage fees will be incurred for any eggs, sperm or embryos you have in storage so it is worth asking about these additional IVF expenses too.
Medicare eligibility and your Medicare Safety Net status can help reduce some out-of-pocket treatment costs, and for those with private health insurance, some costs may be reduced further.

Medicare and IVF Costs
At Adora Fertility, we bulk bill the majority of Medicare-eligible expenses associated with Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), helping reduce out-of-pocket costs for eligible patients.
However, there are some costs that Medicare does not cover, including some medications, day surgery fees and anaesthetist services. The Medicare Safety Net may provide additional rebates once you reach the annual threshold, which can help lower out-of-pocket treatment costs throughout the year.
